Scheduling
Our office hours are Monday,
Tuesday and Thursday for all appointment types from 8:00am to 5:00pm.(We are closed from noon until 1:00pm for lunch)On Wednesdays we are open from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Wednesdays are generally reserved for your
initial visit, diagnostic records and consultations.Thursday now
has extended hours until 6:00pm for braces adjustments. We are
also available to take your calls on Friday from 8:00am until noon.
We schedule 30 minute adjustments from
8:00am to 9:00am and from 2:00pm to 4:00pm to accommodate your work and school schedule. Longer appointments are
scheduled between 9:00am and 2:00pm.
Prime Appointment
Timeslots
If given the option, all of our patients
would schedule every appointment at 4:00pm, however, there are just not enough after school appointment times to
go around. In order for each patient to have their fair share at these prime appointment times, we would like to
offer the following suggestions:
- Know your school schedule and consider using the lunch
hour, PE or study hall hour.
- Pick a different class each time
- Consider car-pooling with other
students
To help keep us on schedule we
also ask
- Upon arrival please check in at the front
desk computer and then proceed directly to the brushing station.Don'twait to be seated for your adjustment
before you brush.
- Please understand that if an appliance
requires a repair, we will repair it at your visit if time allows, but not if it puts you into the next
patient's scheduled time. Please call ahead and let us know that something is loose or broken so we can be
better prepared. Repairing a loose/broken bracket or band can easily take an hour and are usually scheduled
during school time.
- We set aside time each day to handle
emergencies such as pokey wires and repairs. These times are usually right before and after lunch. Please
call right away if you have a pokey wire so we can see you the same day.
Emergencies
Broken Appliances and Missed
Appointments
Bent, broken, or loose appliances and/or a missed appointment can easily lengthen
your treatment six to eight weeks with each occurance. Please be careful to follow instructions to reduce breakages
and call us as soon as possible if you notice a problem. It usually won't be necessary to get in immediately but we
will schedule accordingly.
